After that supposed call ended, I had decided I would make a call to my future MIL.. The phone rang, and had been picked up by his dad or some male inmate of the family..
I asked for Rose..
"May I Know Who is on the line..?" was the only question asked, on hearing the reply of which I could here the feeble beats of the shuffling steps of a hurried lady..
Rose, I thought..
No matter how much I tried to avoid it, Rose looked like the future version of Sarah.. Like how Sarah would feel when her son was in love..
Was in love, 'Sigh, when would you tell me Ned..' I was wondering..
"Oh, hello My dear one.."
I wasn't quite used to these dramatics so maintaining it naturally my way I just greeted with a small hello..
"So Ned was saying me that you wanted to talk to me about something.. Some shopping plans??"
"yeah.. Right Ann.. I told him to bring you home this weekend.. So that we could go on a shopping thing, Bells would be coming.."
"Excuse me, Bells??" I questioned, as I didnot know whom she was referring to..
"don't tell me Ned didnot tell you about his sibilings.. Well, predictable anyways" She sighed unhappily.. "Belinda Nickerson.. My daughter, She is a doctor.."
"Oh, I'm sorry.. I didn't know about her.. Well I'll just come home I guess"
"And I have a home-coming present for you.." She said in such a tone, I could imagine her blushing face..'Sarah Sarah and Sarah, that is what you are Rose..' I thought to myself and smiled..
"Well, I hope I'm not being any disturbance for you.." I honestly pouted..
"Nonsense dear.. You are family now.. And families aren't disturbances.."
I was taken aback.. Before I could Express my shock.. "Don't get any thoughts, I was kidding.."
'So much for love..' I thought to myself.. "Well I wasn't getting any thoughts Rose.."
Sarah laughed.. "Well then take care of yourself.. I love you my baby.."
Her saying baby reminded me of her baby.. Ned..
"Ya bye.. Take care.."
And the line was dead..
Days flew by and Finally It was Friday..
I had called him umpteen times asking how longer it would take for him and his impatience was also increasing...
"This journey to your place from mine, seems like the longest.." he was complaining. which was quite unusual considering he never complained about anything..
"We shall speak about it once it ends Ned, How long is it going to take you..? " I asked him, sounding even more impatient than him..
"Fifteen minutes.. A White bus coming in.. And You shall see me.."
Fifteen minutes seemed like an hour.. For every mile that he crossed he was coming close to me.. I was getting so nervous that I could hear the pounding of my heart beat..
It had been quite silly, considering I had seen him for more than ten years.. But suddenly it had been like someone had flipped a light in the dark, and he seemed like a total new guy to me..
As if he was my Mr.perfect..
Suddenly the white bus came into the bay..
I Never even realized that my eyes had already started scanning for him even before my brain could say that it was him whom I had to search for..
I knew I had fallen in love, Too hard and deep..
I couldn't find him anywhere.. My impatience grew.. I had dropped my mobile in nervousness and surprisingly I was fumbling to myself..
Suddenly a familiar voice called from behind making me jump even more..
I was wondering why I had been so edgy..
"Who?" I just mouthed before which Ned picked up my mobile and dropped it in my hand..
"careful lady.." He said smiling..
One look at him, I knew he was the most handsome guy I ever met.. His crisp white shirt had a few lines of random colors and he had put his headphones near his collars that almost those wires seemed to trespass his shirt's lines.. The collar had been perfectly in place.. With one hand in his pocket and the other hand ruffling in his hairs , and with the shine of his buckle.. I knew I had fallen in Love, Too deep..
'And the twinkle in his eyes.. The ones that I would love to hold forever'.. I thought..
"Didn't still get over your dreams eh??" He was grinning at me..
Suddenly I realised that my staring at him had become quite obvious..
I blushed and looked down..
"Cute.." He mouthed and held my hand.
"Shall we make a move..?" He asked
I typically nodded my head and trotted like a lamb that followed its master.. I couldn't speak, I was shy for the first time in my life..
He didn't either until we had traversed a few miles..
"Just why are you so uncomfortable?" He asked for the first time, leaving my hand..
"Nothing like that.." I lied..
He started to grin.. "Miss.forensic scientist.. Even a dead body would have a higher temperature than your hand.. You are cold.."
I shivered and sneezed..
Ned was immediately by my side.. "You alright??"
His concern was moving me..
"Yes I am.. Just the typical case of a common cold.."
Ned grew annoyed.. "And with this you wanted to travel alone all the way home.. Did you have any medicine??"
"Nope" came the reply..
Ned grew even more annoyed.. "Girls, I tell you.."
He mumbled something and then pulled in a restaurant..
His masculine manners had been awesome.. The way he pulled the chair or sat by the side would have made any girl feel like a princess..
He passed on the menu and made me order for us both..
I had put a finger on the swollen nose of mine, wondering what to eat..
Ned had taken a snap of it..
I was staring at him..
"You looked cute.." He said ruffling his hair..
"Cut it.." I said snatching his mobile.. Only to see that his wallpaper was an edited picture of his mum and me..
I was touched..
He held me and nudged.. "Order dear.."
I did order for both of us and we munched the meal..
"And a cold coffee for the lady please.." He said as I was wondering how he knew this..
"The Last Time your ladyship had been angry you drunk this crap.." he mouthed..
"It aint crap I said.." He sniffed and made a face.. " It is.."
I stopped complaining, hoping that the coffee did magic to my cold..
Rose had called and Ned had been speaking to her.. Before handling it over to me and I had to handle another session of dearness and sweetness..
"Ready for the night??" He said winking at me and carrying my bagpack..
I Grinned and made a face at him...
